A creative journey of self-discovery designed for classes studying colonial history. This innovative 3-day residency collaboration with visual artist Roxanne Faber-Savage blends writing, movement, drama, music and art. Students are assigned colonial occupations and must then create their own characters. During the residency, students enrich their study of colonial life by making their own colonial artifacts and writing about themselves and their characters. The residency culminates in a dramatic all-school presentation and "living museum".
